William Jolliffe

- ????-1802

William Jolliffe bought the Estate of Merstham in May 1798 for �40,000. William and his wife Eleanor had eleven children of which only four survived to adulthood. He died 28th February 1802 when he fell through the trap door to his own wine cellar.
