NEWS

17th February 2005

The recently damaged and removed Bus Shelter opposite the Iron horse pub is going to be replaced.

I have spoken to Reigate and Banstead Borough Council, they have said that it will be replaced with a similar 'wooden' shelter and will consult with New Merstham Residents Association over the most appropriate design for a Shelter to be placed in Merstham.

The Bus Shelter on Delabole road is also in a current state of disrepair, work on this shelter is under review due to mindless vandals and several incidents of Anti-social behaviour.

The NMRA will be keeping a close eye on this and will push to have it repaired or replaced.
